You start with selecting the target language in the “Select target Language” drop-down of “Import Content” tab. The list of available languages depends on your website language settings, just like the “Select source Language” drop-down.

No that the target language has been selected, now you have to upload archive(s) (or relevant XML files) with the translated content. This is done via “Choose Files” 'Choose Files' control. Here, you can choose to upload one or several archives or /xml files with translated contenttranslations. When you choose files and click “Open”'Open', file upload process will start automatically. You’ll see the files in a table , which has the following columns:

• Name - archive name
• Size - archive size (shown if browser supports HTML 5)
• Progress - archive upload progress (shown if browser supports HTML 5)
• Status - archive upload status (shown if browser supports HTML 5)
• Action Actions (Remove) - removes archive/file from the table

Note: Below the table there is also a button In case you want to remove all the uploaded files.At this stage, when you’ve chosen one or more files, they will be uploaded and you can leave the page and get back to it later. Files will be in place. This feature will be of a use in case when not all files with translated content are ready on the moment. You can add (“add” means upload without importing) the files which are at hand and leave the page, then get back to it later when all the files are available, and continue.

Archive(s) with the content has already been uploaded and now you have to import this information to your website. Here you have to choose either you want just to import this information or import and publish at once.

The logic behind importing process is following:

1. If you import without publishing, this will create a draft of a new page, or a new version of a page (depending on whether this is a completely new page or an update of existing one).
2. If you choose to import and publish - your update will become an actual version at once.

It is important to remember couple structure-related details about content being imported. These details are:

1. If the content already exists, and what you import is an update - then original content structure will not be changed. If content being imported implies some structure changes - they will be ignored in order not to brake original structure.
2. If the content doesn’t exist and what you import is a new page, structure will be created accordingly.
3. You shouldn’t upload parent/child entities in different import sessions. In this case system will not be able to setup correct parent-child relations. You can upload content in different archives, but in one import go.

So you click either “Import” or “Import and Publish” button and after the import process is finished you will receive a report which will show you some details on how import process has passed.

Report structure:

• Type - content type
• File name - file name, content element was imported in
• Title - content element title
• Status - “Success” or <Error message>

Also when importing content to CMS  there is one important thing about this process. CMS caches all the website content from the start and when you import something new, website has to be restarted (cache to be updated) so that you can see the content you’ve imported. This restart is done automatically by iLangl connector when you import content. Alternatively you can clear cache via the “Clear Cache” button in the “Export Content” tab.

Done! your translated content is now uploaded to your wordpress web site.

use 'Remove all' button below the table.

While upload is in progress, you can leave the page and get back to it later. Files will be in place. This feature will be

useful if files with translated content are only partially ready
