It is necessary to setup certain content settings, no matter which connector you use. This enables you to work with specific content types. These settings depend largely on the type of data source. In general, this is the place where you define which content types are going to be used within connector, and how to extract necessary content from them.

In this section the following actions that can be performed under content settings are explained:

  • View Content type list
  • Rename content type
  • Enable/Disable content type usage
  • Associate content type with an icon
  • Add a new content type
  • Remove content type

Note: Add, remove and rename options are available only if a channel works with dynamic content types.

Content type settings allow you to set more specific and content type-related settings like:

  • Define URL template
  • Define file encoding
  • Manage translatable fields
  • Manage translatable properties

  • No labels
