One of the most important things in setting up a localization process, is content processing. This is the stage where you have to define:

  • How exactly to handle how different types of content .

  • Which information to include into localization and what to skip.

  • How to process specific tagsshould be handled;

  • which information should be included into localization and which should be skipped;

  • how specific tags should be processed.

This is an important stage because the since file structure might may be quite complicated. Setting up Accurate content processing correctly setup will help in creating a clear and to create an efficient localization process .
This will enable you to and avoid extra translation expenses.  

IlangL Cloud supports three layers of content processing as illustrated in Figure 1:

  1. 'Text Encoding' - Text replacement rules based on regex expressions divided by two types: encode (before content exported) and decode (before content imported).

  2. 'Tags Content Encoding' - Encode internal tag content (Custom Encoding).

  3. 'Tags Encoding' (Tag Rules) - Encode custom XML tags to html format by wrapping custom tags with regular html tags.
    Additional metadata is added to html tag  attributes attributes which help helps to decode custom tag during import.
