It is essential to dynamically communicate with the translation team to keep the translated pages synchronized with each other. The 'Notification System' feature of iLangl enables you to receive automated notifications when there is an:
- Export Trigger - Fires when export
- Import Trigger - Fires when import
New Tag Trigger - Fires when new tag(s) found.
- Start from your My Channels page.
- Click on 'Edit current connector' near the Automation and Notifications Page.
Now, click on 'Notifications' to access the notification system.
Setup Export Trigger
Export trigger is fired when you export data from the CMS (like WordPress). To enable translators to receive export trigger notifications click on Edit near the export trigger label.
You have the option to export trigger notifications for all languages you have subscribed to / supported by iLangl or for a single language. To add multiple accounts separate each individual's email with a comma (,).
To create an export trigger for all languages:
- Choose 'All Languages' under the Language tab.
- Enter the email address(es) of the users to whom the notification should be sent.
Make sure 'Enable' is selected.
- Click Update.
To create an export trigger for a specific language:
- Choose your choice of language under the Language tab.
- Enter the email address(es) of the to whom the notification should be sent.
Make sure 'Enable' is selected.
- Click Update.
To add a new notification click the 'Add Notification' button.
To view the notifications you created click 'View'.
Setup Import Trigger
Import trigger is fired when content import from Translation tool is finished. To set up the import trigger click on Edit near the Import Trigger label.
Set up is similar to the steps listed under Export Trigger (Refer above).
New Tag Trigger
To notify translators when a new tag is added set up the New Tag Trigger. You can define how to handle different types of content by setting up a new tag, To learn more about how to set up and use tags refer Tag Processing. To set up the New Tag Trigger click on Edit near the Import Trigger label.
Set up is similar to the steps listed under Export Trigger (Refer above)
Click on Update to save all changes made.
