How to Set up Notifications

To ensure successful localization workflow, it's important to always stay in the loop. iLangl 'Notification System' allows you to receive timely updates whenever one/all of the following occurs:

  • 'Export Trigger' - fires when export is performed;
  • 'Import Trigger' - fires when import is performed;
  • 'New Tag Trigger' - fires when new tag is found.


In order to set up notifications, please follow the steps below:
  1. Go to 'My Channels'. 
  2. Click 'Edit current connector'. 

Click 'Notifications' to access the notification system. 

Export Trigger Setup

Export trigger fires when you export data from the CMS (like WordPress). To enable export trigger notifications (for translators, project or localization managers), click green 'Edit' button next to 'Export Trigger'.

You can choose if you want to trigger export notifications for all the available languages or just a particular one. To add multiple recipients, please separate each email with a comma (,).

To create an export trigger for all languages:

  • Choose 'All Languages' under the 'Language' tab.
  • Enter email address(es) of recipients.
  • Make sure 'Enable' box is checked.

  • Click 'Update'. 

To create an export trigger for a specific language:

  • Choose your a language under the 'Language' tab. 
  • Enter email address(es) of recipients.
  • Make sure 'Enable' box is checked.

  • Click 'Update'.

To add a new notification, click 'Add Notification' button. 

To view the notifications you created, click 'View'.

Import Trigger Setup

Import trigger fires when content is imported from the TMS. To set up the import trigger, click green 'Edit' button next to 'Import Trigger'.

In order to define import notification settings, please follow the steps descrived at 'Export Trigger' section. (Check the above). 

New Tag Trigger

To trigger notification when a new tag is added, please set up the 'New Tag Trigger'. To enable notifications, click green 'Edit' button next to 'New Tag Trigger' and follow the steps described above.

Click Update to save all changes.
